The purpose of the Farriers Association of Washington State: To organize and promote
excellence in the art and science of farriery; to define, maintain and improve
the quality of craftsmanship and standard of ethics within the association. The
association will in no way interfere with a farrier's clientele, territory or
prices. Members receive a membership card, decal, and a subscription to the "Farriers News"
quarterly newsletter.
Annual Dues are:
- $75 for regular members
- $40 for students (please provide proof of enrollment)
- $35 fo associate membership
Dues paid after September first will be granted membership
through the following year.
$5 from each membership goes to the injured farriers' fund, which allots up to $500 to any injured member in good standing who is unable to work due to injury.
