FAWS in FIRE Challenge

As we did before, we will again have a FAWS in FIRE Challenge to benefit the FAWS Injured Farriers Fund.  You may enter as many times as you wish.  Auction to take place at our Fall Conference September 24-26, 2021 in Ellensburg, WA. If you are unable to attend the Fall Conference in person, please mail to PO Box 948 Coupeville, WA 98239.

Challenge #1 is make a horseshoe NOT from traditional barstock. Must have a minimum of 4 nail holes. No size requirement. Acceptable source materials include rebar, rasps, layered/welded billets, junk steel, etc.

Highest auctioned off item will be crowned winner and receive a ribbon and cash prize!!

Challenge #2 is make somehing from a horseshoe.  Finished product must show at least one nail hole.  Your project must included a minimum of 2" of horseshoe, but may include other materials.
