Come join us for our spring contest with Judge Daniel Jones CJF. Registration and set up begins at 7:00am, with a start time of 8:30. See schedule, hotel information and shoes below. Please register for your appropriate level of competition. Novice = $100, Intermediate = $150, Open = $200

Div 1 Novice
Eagle Eye TBD Class 1: Keg Shoes- square toe with ext heels And hind shoe w/trailer 1/4 clipped and fullered toe. Class 2: Keg Shoes- front rockered toe clip and front lateral support shoe w/ fullered toe. Class 3: Keg Shoes- hind lateral support w/ stud holes and toe clip and front hunter heels w/ toe clip. Shoeing: Keg shoe on foot
Div 2 Intermediate
Eagle Eye: TBD Class 1: pair of front shoes with toe clip. 12” of 3/8x3/4 Class 2: pair of hind shoes with quarter clips. 11 1/2” 3/8x3/4 Class 3: (2) Barshoes (1) 3/8x3/4 and (1) 3/8x1 Shoeing: Clipped plain stamp on foot. Specimen 3/4 fullered barshoe
Div 3 Open

2 man contest: Draw for partner: Double Caulking cart horse shoe
THERE WILL ALSO BE A FUN "FAWS IN FIRE CHALLENGE"
FAWS Fire Challenge 2020 Spring Contest, benefiting our Injured Farriers Fund!!
We will have 2 categories this year!!!
Category 1) Make a horseshoe not made from traditional bar stock. Must have minimum of (4) nail holes. No size requirement. Acceptable source materials include rebar, rasps, layered/welded billets, junk steel etc.
Category 2) Make something from a horseshoe. Finished project must show at least (1) nail hole. Your project must include a minimum of 2” of horseshoe, but may include other materials.
All submitted pieces will be judged. Ribbons and cash prizes for the winners. All pieces will be auctioned off to benefit our Injured Farriers Fund!!!
If you would like to participate but are unable to make it to our Spring Contest April 3-5, please mail your submission to PO Box 948 Coupeville, WA 98239 by Wednesday March 25, 2020. Happy Forging!!!!
