Veterinarians and farriers working together!
Michael Savoldi discusses various forces acting upon the equine foot over time and how these forces often result in pathology to the internal structures. He demonstrates how pathology is reflected in external markers and how establishing the relationship of P3 to the ground surface through the trim can either direct the foot towards improved functionality and health or set up the foot for failure. Michael Savoldi’s work brings to light how the trim can be used as a therapeutic tool.
